Mrs Ed Ambrose daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Beck of Monroe Twp., died at her home near Strattanville, last night after several weeks illness.

The funeral services of Mrs. Hattie Ambrose, nee Beck, the wife of James Edward Ambrose, of Clarion township, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beck of Monroe township, took place Saturday, August 15 at 11:30 a.m. at the Shamburg M.E. Church, and were conducted by Rev. Cearing Peters and Rev. Wm. F. Fleming of Clarion. Mrs. Ambrose was born February 25, 1878, and died August 13, 1903. She leaves to mourn her sad taking away her husband and two little children, her parents and five sisters and one brother.
*Note: Her husband later married her sister, Mary M. "Carrie" Beck. Grandparents, Joseph & Mary Beck raised the two children from his first marriage.
