John Gomez Hernandez, 58, Lawson, MO, died July 9, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. Mr. Hernandez was born Aug. 14, 1948 in Moline, IL, the son of Juan Landin and Amelia (Gomez) Hernandez. He was married to Ellen Lucinda "Cindy" Vaughn on Dec. 30, 1984.
He was a driver for V & A Courier.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Hernandez, of the home; one brother, Joe Hernandez, Grandview, IA; one sister, Barbara Jean Hernandez, Keithsburg, IL; five children, Cori, Jonna, Suzie, John Michael and Christina; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends July 12, at Polley Funeral Home in Lawson, where a Rosary will be said, and Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Burial in Lawson Cemetery.
