Mrs. Maxey Alden died yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock at her home on Excelsior Springs avenue after an illness of about two weeks. She is survived by her husband and one son, Reuben Strode of this city and two sisters near Holt.
Funeral services will be held at the home this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and burial at Salem cemetery north of Excelsior Springs.
Mrs. Alden will perhaps be better known to her friends here as Mrs. Maxey O'Dell. She has spent most of her life in Excelsior Springs, and was about 60 years of age.
