Thomas "T.J." James Alexander, 11, of Haughton, Louisiana, died on July 28, 2007 due to injuries in an automobile accident.
Funeral Services will be held on 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church in Wellington. Reverend Kent Craft of the Central Assembly of God Church in Haughton, Louisiana will officiate. Interment will be in the Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wellington. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Hawks Funeral Home in Wellington. A memorial fund has been established in memory of T.J. and can be left at First National Bank 206 East Harvey Wellington, KS 67152 or left at the Hawks Funeral Home 704 North Washington.

Thomas James Alexander was born on October 14, 1995 in Omaha, Nebraska to Steven Edward and Debra Denise Alexander. TJ enjoyed going to church at Central Assembly of God in Haughton, especially children's church. He enjoyed riding his bike and his scooter around his neighborhood. TJ was a member of Cubs Scouts Pack 227 and had recently moved into the Boy Scouts Troop 226. TJ enjoyed spending time with his best friend Jacob and especially loved his sisters.

Surviving to honor his memory are his parents Steven Edward "Eddie" and Debra Denise "DeDe" Alexander of Haughton, Louisiana and sisters; Michaela and Sarah Alexander of Haughton, Louisiana, grandparents; Dennis and Linda Terry of Wellington and Almina Alexander of Jasper, Texas, Great grandparents Don and Janey Weaver of Haysville, Kansas, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death is his grandfather Stanley Alexander.
