Millie Mills
Mrs. Millie Mae Mills, 93, 4105 ½ Main St., died Saturday morning at a local nursing home.
Born in Peebles County, Ohio, she had lived in Anderson most of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cleo Stroud, Elkhart, and Mrs. Arthur Bennett, Anderson; two sons, Delbert "Dink" Mills, Anderson, and Hank Mills, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. John Ashby, Alexandria; two brothers, Branson VanMeter, Anderson, and Al VanMeter, Florida; 30 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baker Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Skinner officiating. Burial will follow in Bronnenberg Cemetery at Chesterfield.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
