She was born March 20, 1948 in Charleston, SC to the late Carl A. Jenness, Sr. and Madeline Caraviello Jenness.
She worked as a retail manager with Affordables at South Windemere and enjoyed shagging with the Pivots Shag Club. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She will be deeply missed by her fiance', Grier Chestnut of Charleston; her brother, Carl A. Jenness, Jr. and his wife, Amber; her uncle, Harold Caraviello and his wife Faye of Goose Creek; her aunts, Mildred Kluk of James Island and Virginia Hensley of Corinth, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends, Monday, July 2, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 150 Wentworth St. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
