She moved to Covington in 1966 from Griffith. She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church and retired in 1989 from the small claims court where she had served as clerk for many years.
Surviving, are: four sons, Judge Vincent F. (Millie) Grogg, Covington; Dr. Edward (Letty) Grogg, formerly Mahomet, Illinois and presently of Englewood, Florida; Thomas (Sandy) Grogg, Marion; Lee Grogg, Valparaiso; a special friend, Iva Cooper, Covington; a sister, Jeanette St. Germain, La Grange, Illinois; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) in the United Methodist Church, Covington, with the Rev. Allen Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the church. Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
