James had a (1900C)sister, Gracia Emma Cable (or Emma Grace Cable), born Sept. 8, 1895 with this marriage. His father later remarries (1910C)and more siblings would be born with the second marriage of his father, William Lee Cable to Sena Johnson. The parents of William Lee Cable were George Washington Cable and Elizabeth Cook Cable (living in Watauga Co. 1880C).
In 1920C James Ernest Cable, single, age 26, has moved West and is living in rental property in Crow Reservation, Big Horn, Montana.
Sgt. James Ernest Cable was married to Anna K. Cable. According to a 1930C, it lists Anna as being born in Russia and with both of her parents being born in Russia.
Known children of James and Anna were daughters, Helen and Anna.
