Funeral services are spending at Mrs. Lois C. Wilson, 66, of 1740 Easton Ave., who died at 4:05 p.m. Friday at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of cancer. She had been a patient at the hospital for three weeks.
The body will be taken from Kearns-Dykeman Chapel to the Stoklasa Funeral Home of Cainsville, Mo., for services and burial in the Zoar Cemetery of Cainsville.
She was born in Mercer County, Mo., on December 17, 1900, the daughter of John and Annie Barrett McLain. She married Delbert D. Wilson on Oct. 11, 1919, in Cainsville and he preceded her in death in 1952.
She was a member of the Baptist Church of Cainsville, and had resided in Waterloo for the past five years.
She is survived by five sons: Lawrence of Kansas City, Kan., Clayton of 625 Home Acres, Evansdale. Melvin Dale of 706 Burr Oak Ave., Evansdale, Norman of 1855 Downing Ave., and Larry of Riverside, Mo., seven daughters: Mrs. Wendell Francis of 1624 W. 11th St., Mrs. Kenneth Thompson of 1740 Easton Ave. with whom she made her home, Mrs. Melvin Sweerin of 504 Adrian St., Mrs. Harold Sparks of Albany, Ore., Mrs. J. J. Cain of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Clarence Francis of Mt. Moriah, Mo., and Mrs. Harold Mattson of Lester Prairie, Minn.; one brother, Darrell McLain of Cainsville, four sisters: Mrs. Dean Beeson and Mrs. Charley Graham, both of Cainsville, Mrs. Verona Bowlin and Mrs. Grace Chambers, both of Indianola. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister.
