Joyce Granger Albarado, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Survivors include two daughters, Vern Thibodeaux and her husband Donald of Ennis, Montana and Ulaine "Lynn" Simon of Scott; two sons, Leroy Albarado and his wife, Mona of Scott and James Albarado and his wife, Vickie of New Iberia; one sister, Clara Hebert Savoy; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stafford Albarado; parents, Leo and Edith Nero Granger; granddaughter, Kayla Albarado; and a son in law, Robert G. Simon.
A resident of Scott for most of her life, Joyce was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
