EDINBURG. – Harold Wirey, 65, of Edinburgh, died at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis at 3:15 a.m. Sunday following an extended illness.
The Rev. Bruce McClure of Indianapolis will conduct funeral rites in the Mutz Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be made in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home.
Mr. Wirey was born in Brown County, July 22, 1894 and was the son of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. He was married to Ethel Stucker, August 25, 1915.

Mr. Wirey was born in Brown County July 22, 1894, the son of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. He was united in marriage to Ethel Stucker on August 25, 1915.
He was a member of the Edinburg Methodist Church and had been an employee of the Amos-Thompson Corp. before his retirement ten years ago. He resided in Edinburg.
Survivors with his wife are; two daughters, Mrs. Everet [Ebert] True and Mrs. Charles Pullen, Jr. of Edinburg; two granddaughters; four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Mutz Funeral Home in Edinburg on Tuesday with Rev. Bruce McClure officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
