Billy Wayne Alexander, 70, formerly of Weinert, passed away July 25, 2007 in Bangs, Tx. A Graveside service will be held at the Plains Cemetery, in Plains, TX, Friday, July 27, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rob Harrison officiating. Billy Wayne was born January 28, 1937 in Weinert, Tx to Leonard and Pearlie Alexander. He married Juanita Reams on June 9, 1957, she preceded him in death.
Billy Wayne attended Weinert High school and then moved to the High Plains area to be a cotton ginner. He later moved to Plains, TX and was an electrician for Joe Kay Electric Company. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Wayne Alexander, Jr. of Rosesharon, Tx, James Lee Alexander of ElReno, OK, daughter, Jackie Alexander of Guyman, OK, granddaughter, Kriston Alexander of Guyman, OK, grandson, Kody Alexander of Guyman, OK, brother, Jimmy Alexander of Old Glory, TX and sister, Erlinda Mayfield of Weinert, TX.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita, brother, Mavis Alexander and granddaughter, Kalie Alexander. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family request memorials be made to Weinert Cemetery or Plains Cemetery.
