William Thomas Grimm, 87 of Arlington, eldest son of pioneers William G. and Dora Grimm, died peacefully Dec 31 2003. He was born Oct 5, 1916, at home. He was a wonderful father to son, Thomas W. and wife Cheryl Grimm, grandfather to Hillary and Jessica Grimm. He also leaves behind brothers, George (Vi) and John (Betty Jane); sisters Martha Young, Dorothy (George) Carroll and Betty (Lou) Keller and many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary, of 52 years; brother-in-law, Bill Young; and sister-in-law, Arlyne Grimm. Bill was a 61 year member of the Elks Club, 22 years with the Ballard Elks. He served in the Army and in the Alaska Communications Systems during WW II. He also served on the Lakewood School Board for a number of years. He was the third generation living on the home place all his life. His most notable achievement was working at Consolidated Dairy Products (Darigold) for 35 years in the Seattle office. He was a shipping and billing clerk, working for the company his father helped start in 1929. He had many friends in the transportation industry. Memorials can be made to the Stillaguamish Valley Pioneers Assoc., the Little White Church on the Hill or a charity of your choice. Per his request, there will be no public services. "Dad ... polish up your dancing shoes, Mom is waiting for you..."
