Jo Anna Brizendine, 40, passed away on May 4, 2007 at her home near Rockdale. Rev. Jan Campbell conducted the funeral service at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale on May 6, 2007. A graveside service and burial followed at the Brizendine Family Cemetery near Andice, Texas.
Jo Anna was born in Taylor on January 24, 1967 to Cecil M. and the late Ruth J. (Ceil) Schneider. She was a commercial underwriter for Farmers Insurance Company in Round Rock for 20 years. She and Wesley Brizendine were married in Round Rock on July 10, 1987. Her mother, Ruth Schneider and brother, Matthew Schneider preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley of Rockdale, sons, Scott Brizendine of Georgetown and Jeremiah Brizendine of Rockdale; father and step-mother, Cecil and Ann Schneider of Bartlett; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Boots and Kenneth Brizendine of Florence; sisters: Sheryl Schneider of Lockhart, Jane Benham and husband John of Wink, Rita Snyder and husband Cliff of Bartlett, Connie Schneider of Lockhart and Nancy Nichols of Hewitt and brother-in-law, Corby Brizendine of Shidler, Oklahoma.
Jo Anna was a 1985 graduate of Georgetown High school and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rockdale.
