Helen M. Leach, 95, of Madison, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.

She was born July 27, 1911, in Canaan, the daughter of Hugh and Cora Risk Manville. She was a homemaker. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, walking and baby-sitting.

She is survived by one daughter, Nina Leach Luckett of Milton, Ky.; two sons, Ron Dierkes of Madison and Larry Dierkes of Indianapolis; two sisters, Fannie Hamilton of Madison and Dorothy McClure of Hanover; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Frank Dierkes; her second husband, John Leach; her parents; and one daughter, Judy Bowyer.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and form 11 a.m. until the service Friday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association of Indiana.

Services were held Friday, July 6, 2007 at Lytle Funeral Chapel with burial in Springdale cemetery in Madison, Ind.
