DOVER Larry Dewey May, 63, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at York Hos pital. He was the husband of Dawn Marea (Grove) May, his wife of 43 years, whom he married April 21, 1964 . A tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born November 16, 1943, in York, Larry was raised in the Red Lion area and was the son of the late Ray. A. May, Sr. and the late Virginia M. (Shue) May. He worked 30 years with York Volkswagen, where he was a mechanic and shop foreman. Most recently, he had a stand at Morningstar Flea Market. Larry was a former member of Fraternal Order of Police and enjoyed attending and selling at various flea markets, as well as raising and showing rabbits. In addition to his wife, Mr. May is survived by a daughter, Jody M. and husband, William Riganati of York; two sons, Chris S. and wife, Theresa May of York, and Troy L. May of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Roxanne J. and husband, William Mihalov of Red Lion; and three brothers, Jerry L. May, Randy L. and wife, Bonnie May, and Ray A. May, Jr., all of Red Lion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
