She was born Dec. 24, 1924, to Olan and Willie Brewer in Wood County.
Ms. Allen worked in the foodservice business for the majority of her adult life in Lubbock and Redding, Calif. She returned to Texas in the 1980's, helping her sister care for their mother and working as a C.N.A. at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport until her retirement. The past few years she has resided in Idalou.
Ms. Allen is survived by her sister, Nadyne Brewer of Lubbock; four sons, Duane Robertson of California, Jim Casey of Keller, Ronny Casey of Lubbock, and Wayne "Tad" Casey of Lubbock; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Ms. Allen was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold Brewer.
