Ms. Langford was born on December 6, 1917 in Coushatta, LA to Mr. and Mrs. Ocy Cannon. She passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007 in Bossier City, LA. Ocy was a Baptist, a retired LPN and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Ms. Langford was preceded in death by her parents, Ocy and Ola Cannon; brother, Alvin Cannon; four sisters, Jewel Bamburg, Ruth Murray, Rhodessa Moseley, Vivian Cannon and former husband, Garland Langford.
Ms. Langford is survived by sisters, Pauline (Polly) Hagen of Bossier City, LA, Bobbie Long of Martin, LA, brother, M.D. Cannon of Monroe, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Ms. Langford as pallbearers will be her nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Riverview Nursing Home staff, especially to Marguerite and Geneva for their care and to special friends, Lucille May and Jimmie Stogner. Also thank you to the Shreveport-Bossier Hospice.
