Victor William Becker, the son of Mr. Henry Becker and his wife Louise, nee Nolting, was born May 13, 1930 at Elk Grove Township, Cook County. He was baptized by the Rev. Theiss on June 1, 1930, and was confirmed by Pastor O. Wienrich on April 2, 1944, a class of five boys and one girl. He attended Christian Day school at the Putten Hill School and St Lukes School in Itasca.
Victor had been ill for some weeks and was finally taken to the Elmhurst Community Hosiptal where he died October 8, 1945, at the age of 15 years, 4 months and 26 days.
Victor leaves to mourn his departure his father and mother, Henry Becker and his wife Louise of Bensenville, three brothers, Henry Jr. of Napa, Calif; William of Bensenvile and Edward of Camp Atterbury, Ind, who is also very sick. Three sisters, Mrs. Marion Franzen of Wood Dale, Mrs. Gilbert Breckenfelder of Wood Dale, and Mabel at home; a brother-in-law, a sister-in-law, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nolting.
