Funeral services for L.C. Tilley, 46,were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church, Rev. Darwin Stroud, officiating. Military graveside rites were conducted by the Spur VFW.

An automatic mechanic by trade, Mr. Tilley had been in the Veterans Hospital at Big Springs for some time. He died there on March 15 after a lengthy illness.

A member of the Assembly of God Church, Mr. Tilley had been a resident of Spur since 1943.

Survivors include his wife, seven sons, Sonny, Bobby, Ronnie, Bruce, Donnie, Roy, Johnny; three daughters, Jan, Beverly and Vickie; two brothers, Red and Joe; three sisters, Mrs. Odell Buzbee, Mrs. Nell Chapman and Mrs. Tobe Hutson; 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gerald Watts, Allen Gatlin, Foy Jackson, Delbert Bailey, Homer Jackson, Vernon Drury.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
