Otto Paul (Joe) Krueger, 88 of Aleman died Aug. 8 in the Hamilton General Hospital. Funeral services were held Aug. 10 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aleman with Pastor Alvin Meissiner and Pastor Timothy Carr officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 22, 1911 in Hamilton County, the son of Fritz and Sophia Sommerfeld Krueger.
Mr. Krueger was married to Hattie Feldman on Dec. 21, 1932. He was a farmer in the Aleman community and a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hattie Krueger of Aleman; his three children, Betty Haile and husband C.H. of Weatherford; Dennis Krueger and wife Bernadene of Hamilton and Patsy Chilton of Hamilton; a sister, Frieda Meissner of Hamilton; six grandchildren, Denise Hughes, Denette Gilmore, Deanna Melde, Sharon Wiley, Bradley Haile and Jodie Chilton and six great-grandchildren. His parents, three sisters and four brothers precede him in death.
Pallbearers were Bradley Haile, John Wylie, James Hughes, Kevin Gilmore, Darrell Melde and Kenneth Schrank.
