Irene Hill Tolman
Together Again

SANDY/PARKER, AZ- Irene Bertha Hill Tolman bid her final farewell to this early plane on July 30, 2002.

Born June 22, 1914, in Salt Lake City to Joshua G. and Esther L. Whitecar Hill. Oldest of seven children. Married her best friend and sweetheart Orin Hatch Tolman on February 3, 1932, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Irene lived in Sandy, Utah, for 54 years before moving on to new adventures in Parker, Arizona where she resided for 34 years. Irene was a devoted and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding many church positions. Irene and Orin traveled extensively throughout the United States making many friends wherever they went.

Survived by three children, Gordon (Ann), Midvale; O. Robert (Bonnie) Draper; Janice Jenkins, Ogden; daughter-in-law Betty C. Tolman, Sandy; Brother, Alvin Hill, Draper, 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving companion, Orin and her eldest son, Philip.

A special thanks to First Choice Vista Care for their compassionate and caring service.

A celebration of her life will be held Sat. at 11:00 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 West where Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior Interment in Redwood Memorial Estates.
