He was preceded in death by his father, Orville Eugene Dodson. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A Munson Dodson of the home, three sons, Russell E Dodson Jr., William Dodson and Richard Dodson, his mother, Isabella Zade Van Patten Dodson, three brothers, George Henry Dodson, Elmer Leroy Dodson and Robert Lee Dodson and two sisters, Carmenita Ann Dodson Madrid and Russie June Dodson Harris.
