Christopher "Chris" Michael Deviney, 18, of 8 Newington Green, died Thursday as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Portsmouth, OH, he was the son of Allyson O'Neill Deviney of the home and Jerry P. Deviney of Simpsonville. He was a senior at Eastwood High School and attended Brookwood Community Church. Also surviving a brother, Patrick D. Deviney of Taylors; stepsister Tracey C. Deviney of Greenville; stepbrother Jerry Scott Deviney of Atlanta; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Leo O'Neill of White Sulphur Springs, WV; and paternal grandfather, Otto Deviney of Casar, NC. Service 2 p.m. Saturday at Brookwood Community Church. Burial: Woodlawn Memorial Park.
