Mrs. Lawrence was pronounced dead at 11 25 p.m. Friday in her home by Justice of the Peace, who ruled the death a homicide. The victim died of multiple stab wounds.
She was born in Kansas City. Mo.,and had lived in Amarillo since 1953 where she was a data clerk for Corporate
Systems. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband. two sons; a daughter; her parents; a sister; and two stepsons.
