Mrs. Blackledge, a home maker, died Sunday, December 5, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Blackledge; 3 sisters, Asha Marie Bolton Hicks, Doris Loree Kennedy, Alice Marie Holley; 2 brothers, Dewey Irby, James E. Irby; and by a great grandson, Dillon Kyle Moore.
Mrs. Blackledge is survived by a daughter, Joycie Mae Tarry & husband Tommy of Roswell, NM; a son, James H. Blackledge & wife Ruth Ann of Midland, TX; 3 sisters, Helen Lucille Miller of Pineland, TX, Georgia Ethel Deal of Monroe, LA, Ida Mae Mercer of Oak Grove, LA; a brother, Jessie Irby of Bastrop, LA; 3 grandchildren, Michael Blackledge, Jamie Moore, Shane Tarry; and by 6 great grandchildren.
