FREMONT (Special)—Mrs. Florence Roquet, 85, lifelong resident of the Fremont vicinity, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 1960 at her home in Fremont. She had been an invalid for the past 13 years. Her funeral service will be at 2p.m. Wednesday at the Fremont funeral chapel, to be conducted by Rev. J.W.Garbison. Burial will be at Cedar township cemetery.
Mrs. Roquet was born July 15, 1874, near Fremont, the daughter of William and Sarah McFall King, and was married on Jan. 6, 1897, to Chester A. Roquet, who died on April 3, 1958. Three sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Meier of Hedrick and Mrs. Frank Edison of Wichita, Kan.; two sons, Glenn and Virgil Roquet, both of Hedrick; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
