Born at Lee in White county, to Michael & Clara (Kline) Peregrine. She lived most of her life in Jasper County, but lived for four years in Newton County and 16 years in White County.On October 4, 1911 in Monticello she married Joseph Oscar Harlow, who died in 1963. She was educated in White and Jasper County public schools.
Surviving are three sons Raymond(Olga) of Gary, Wilson(Rose) of Kingsford Heights, Joseph(Mabel) of Merrillville. Three daughters, Mrs. Mildred (Merritt Blake) Morrow of Hebron, Mrs. Helen (Richard) Donnelly of Rennselaer, Mrs. Esther (Walfrid) Johnson of Kingsford Heights; 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Three brothers George Peregrine of Lafayette, Oscar and Lawrence Peregrine both of Hobart, and a sister of Mrs. Goldie Byrd of Lafayette.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, parents, son, daughter, brother Edward Peregrine, four sisters Miss Mary Irene Peregrine, Mrs. Amanda Jenkinson, Mrs. Rachel Coffel, Mrs. Tillie Barbour.
Pallbearers: John Morrow,Lloyd Johnson, Larry Johnson, Patrick Donnelly, Dean Morrow, Jairus Harlow.
