Mrs. Ellen (Nellie) Birch Abbott, 79, 4775 Bon Air St., Holladay, died of natural causes Saturday at 8:45 a.m., in a Holladay rest home.
Born Oct. 30, 1885, Hoytsville, Summit County, to Jonah and Emma McMichael Birch. Married to Claude A. Abbott, Dec. 25, 1906, Hoytsville. Solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 1, 1932.
Active in Primary of West Jordan LDS Ward.
Survivors: sons Floyd A., C. Blaine, both Salt Lake City; Orin J., Denver; George S., Diamond Bar, Calif.; five grandchildren; brothers, sisters, J. Byron Birch, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Emma B. Farnsworth, Magna.
Funeral Tuesday noon 4760 S. State where friends call Monday 6-8 p.m., Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial West Jordan Cemetery.
