Illness Of Four Months

Kokomo Resident
Alaska O. Jones, 64, died at 10:20 o'clock Monday night at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Martin, 738 South Washington street, following an illness of four months of a complication of ailments.
Mr. Jones was born February 4, 1870 in Randolph county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben S. Jones.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Belle Jones; one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Martin, wife of Emerson Martin, county clerk; one son, Theodore Jones of Palo Alto, Calif.; four grandchildren, Theodore Jones, Jr.,, of Palo Alto, Calif., and Robert, Richard and Emerson Martin, Jr., of Kokomo; three brothers, Frank O. Jones and Charles Jones of Springfield, Ohio, W.E. Jones of Miami county and one sister, Sadie Jones of Cincinnati.
The funeral will be held at the home of his son-in-law, Emerson Martin, 738 South Washington street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J. M. Horne of the Main Street Christian church will be in charge. Burial will be in the Galveston cemetery. Friends may call at the home after 5 o'clock Tuesday evening.
