OBITUARY
Died on Saturday night last, at the residence of Abel Johnson, Esq., Joseph Johnson, aged about seventy-seven years. The deceased was a native of Virginia, and at an early day moved from there to Harrison county in this State; and from there he moved to this county, where he has resided for the last twenty years. The deceased was an industrious man and a good citizen, and was highly esteemed by his neighbors, and all who knew him. He has left a large connexion (sic) of friends to mourn his loss.
