Miss Louise W. Haper, 82 years old. Born on August 16, 1892 to August and bertha Haper in Altona township of Pipestone County, Minnesota, one mile south of Ward, SD. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of Ward and was a member there until she moved to Dubuque, Iowa in 1935. She worked there in a laundry as a press operator. When she retired she went to live with a nephew in Maine a few years. Then she came back and lived with her brother Henry and Anna Haper for 18 months. Because of her health she went to live with her sister and husband in California for nine years and lived the past two years at Rialto, Calif. in a retirement home.

She passed away on November 4, 1975. Funeral was held at the Colton Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. Final resting place was the Dubuque Memorial Gardens at Dubuque, Iowa. Arrangements and directions by Colton Funeral Chapel in Colton, Calif.
