MICHAEL G. BURNS, 41, of MATAWAN, died at home with his family after a long battle with cancer. He attended Christian Brothers Academy and graduated from Middletown South. He also attended St. Peter's College, Jersey City. His career included The New York Mercantile Exchange, Database America, I-Atlas and Alta Vista. He was born in Red Bank. Surviving are his mother, Joan Burns; his father and stepmother, Joseph and Dorcy Burns; two brothers, Joseph P. Jr. and Andrew E. Burns.
