DUPUIS, Paul A. "Duke"

Paul A. "Duke" Dupuis, 72, of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, (May 12, 2007). Born on February 13, 1935, in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late Aime J. and Lucienne M. (Morin) Dupuis.

A veteran of the Korean War, Paul served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a diesel mechanic in the petroleum industry. He was an avid hunter and was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music.

A very thoughtful and kind hearted individual, Paul is survived by the "mama of his babies", Sandra Dupuis of Windsor Locks; his sons, Daniel Dupuis and his wife Kim of Windsor Locks; Paul Dupuis, Jr. and his wife Nikki of PA; his three daughters, Ann Mitchell of Windsor Locks; Renee Dupuis of Windsor Locks; and Chantel Perigo, and her husband, Randy of Ellington, his two brothers, Francois Dupuis and his wife Barbara of Wethersfield; and Andre Dupuis and his wife Ava of Texas; his sisters, Julianne McCann and her husband Bob of Florida; and Louise Yard and her husband Joe of Florida; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his second wife, Rinette Dupuis.

Relatives and friends may gather at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:45 a.m. for a procession to St. Joseph's Church, Poquonock, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Grove Cemetery, Windsor Locks.
