Oliver J. Weist, 82, prominent retired farmer of Baltimore, died at 3:15 a. m. today in Grant Hospital, Columbus, where he underwent an operation last midnight. Just a week ago Wednesday, Mr. Weist attended the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Amanda Brandt at Canal Winchester.
Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Roy H. Oman, Columbus, and Mrs. H. L. Kagay, Thornville, and three sons, Rev. Dwight Weist, Scranton, Pa., Rev. Clyde Weist, Bronxville, N. Y., and Rev Sereno Weist; Mt Vernon N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:30 p. m. at the late home with the Rev. O. J. Stone officiating and burial will be made in Forest Rose cemetery, by A. E. Johnson, Baltimore.
