Buster Adaway

PORT ARTHUR - Buster Adaway, 87, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born in Johnson Bayou, Louisiana on October 14, 1919 to Alice Alphin Adaway and Sebastian Boschan Adaway .

He lived in the Port Arthur for most of his life. Buster served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He retired from Texaco Island as a machine and dye setter after 30 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Visitation was held on Monday evening at Clayton Thompson. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 10:00 A. M. in the Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Ann Stevens Adaway and his son, Milton Daniel Adaway.

Buster is survived by his daughters, Jeanette Adaway of Port Arthur, Cindy Davis and her husband, Sid of Sabine Pass, his son, Jimbo Adaway and his wife, Cheryl of Jasper, Texas, his grandchildren, Daniel Vincent, Juanita Peavy, Christopher Peavy, Michael Peavy, Leann Mitchell, Shane Jordan and Cody Wheeler, great grandchildren, James Peavy and Tristan Vincent, his sisters, Della Sangwin of Nederland and Ollie Murphy of Wildwood, his brother, Dan Adaway of Lake Jackson, Texas as well as several nieces and nephews. 5200 W.
