Born in Cleveland County, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of the late Thomas Everette Lemons and Frances Clary Lemons.
She retired from Fasco as a machine operator.
Barbara was a member of Ledford Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mickey Smith Sr., and a daughter, Amy Michelle Smith.
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park
