A former resident of the Adams, OK community, mother of Mrs. D. R. Crawford of Liberal, KS, died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. Baker at McMinnville, TN. Mrs. Fisher and her husband, Ed Fisher, who died in 1917, homesteaded near Adams in 1903, coming to Texas County from TN. She continued to make her home in that community until four years ago, when she went to live with her daughter in TN. Mrs Fisher was a member of the Christian Church.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs Allie Hinkle, Pueblo, CO: Mrs W. Baker, McMinnville, TN and Mrs D.R. Crawford of Liberal.
Funeral services conducted at the Christian Church at Adams, OK Monday afternoon and burial will be made in the Happy Cemetery north of Adams. (OV Nov. 6, 1948.)
