Mrs. Ola Perdue Griggs Morse, age 97, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Funeral service 2 P.M. Friday, August 29, 2008 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Mrs. Morse was born October 25, 1910 in Chesterfield County a daughter of the late Elisha P. and Mary Elizabeth Cranford Perdue. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Morse was first married to the late Henry V. Griggs and then to the late A. J. Morse and was also preceded in death by a son Grady F. Griggs, daughters Ruby G. Smith and Ruth Helen Atkinson, and granddaughter Mona Lisa Parker, and a great great grandchild Lane Tyler Pond.
