Sallie M. Sullivan, age 101, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Adair County, died Thursday March 12, 1992 at her residence.
Ms. Sullivan was born in Adair County, Kentucky, on March 7, 1891 to the late Rachel Collins Bryant and Charles Bryant. Her husband, William Taylor Sullivan, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Kell, Louisville, Kentucky, Nina Rooks, Indianapolis, Indiana, Lavona Wade, Madison, Ohio, and Edith Hadley, Indianapolis, Indiana; and two sons, Rufus Sullivan and Curtis Sullivan, both of Russell Springs, Kentucky; one step-son, Elbert Sullivan, Indianapolis, Indiana. Twenty-one grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Ms. Sullivan was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday March 15, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel in Russell Springs, Kentucky, with Reverends Jimmy Polston and Lonzo Wiggington officiating.
Special music was provided by Osborn Roy, Janice Popplewell and Wilma Eller.
Interment was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
