EMELINE H. LINARD, age 82, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Moday, Jan 8, 2007. She was born April 6, 1924 in Nicholas County, KY to the late Henry Kimbrough and Mollie Woodall Hamilton. Emeline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert ( Bob-O ) Linard and by her brother, James Marion Hamilton Sr. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law : Harold Kenneth and Opal Hamilton ; sister-in-law, Nora Hamilton ; niece, Janet Kaye Kenney ; nephews, James M. Hamilton Jr. and his wife, Wanda and Danny Hamilton and his wife, Donna ; 6 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews, who were all very dear to their Aunt Emeline.

Mrs. Linard was a 1944 graduate of Morehead State University, was a member of the Carlisle First Baptist Church in Carlisle, KY. She was an active member of the Riverside Methodist Hospital Sewing Guild #9, of which she was a chairperson. She retired after 38 years of teaching in the Columbus Public Schools. Although she was very active in the community, Emeline's loving life was shared mostly with her beloved family.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, January 12, 2007 at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, where family and friends will be recieved.

Interment will be held Saturday at Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Kentucky.
