Lovingly known as "Red"
Of Orchard Park, NY., Born in Buffalo, NY. Husband of Verna "Sis" nee Engelhardt, son of Michael F. and Nellie Barry Gaughan; brother of Mrs. Harold Powers, Mrs. Dewey Seiler of Irving, N.Y., Mrs. James Prutsman of Franklinville, N.Y., and Vincent J. Gaughan of Buffalo. Brother-in-law of Herbert & Lillian Engelhardt of Orchard Park, NY and John. W. Engelhardt. Favorite Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Red was a WWII vet.

Red worked at Worthington & Mchry. Corp, Buffalo, N.Y. He, also, delivered newspapers. He was the main deliverer of newspapers at the Erie County Race Track and Fairgrounds. Sometimes he would take his nephews to help or his wife and neice to wander the grounds and check out the horses. Red was a quiet man but always smiling.

Cause of death: cancer/brain tumor
