Johnsie Fagge Boring died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Salisbury, NC. Mrs. Boring had celebrated her 100th birthday last year. She was born December 6, 1906, in Rockingham County, NC, moved to Eden as a child, and lived there until moving to Salisbury in 1994. She was the youngest daughter of John Dillard Fagge and Anna Roberts Fagge of Eden, and was married to William Neal Boring who passed away in 1946. She was employed by Home Savings and Loan of Eden until her retirement in the 1950s. She was fond of music and sang and played for the Leaksville Methodist Church for several years. Mrs. Boring lived quietly at her home in Eden until poor health caused her to enter Brian Center.
