Flora Vines Hulsey, 59 of 41 Bible St., passed away Tuesday, December 17. She was born March 30, 1943 in Haralson County and was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: brothers W.C. Vines and Rev. Robert Vines; and sisters, Thelma Gentry and Marrine Greenway. Surviving her are: daughter Marilyn Beck; brothers Howard Vines of Felton, Frank Vines and Henry Vines, both of Tallapoosa; sisters Mary Greenway, Fay Crawford, Pauline Gilliard, Tallapoosa, and Jeanette Callihan, also of Tallapoosa; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 21, in the Valley View Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Vines, Jr., Rev. Moses Wilson and Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Interment followed in the Valley View cemetery. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, December 24, 2002)
