Services for Fred E. Patterson Jr., 46, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary,
with the Rev. Gary Myer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Patterson died this morning at his home of cancer. He was born June 25, 1943, in Lawrence.
A lifelong Lawrence resident, he was a service station manager and had been manager with Fisca Oil Co.,
740 N. Second, for the last 11 years.
He was married Sept. 12, 1977, in Lawrence to Margaret Neis. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his parents, Fred E. Sr. and Mary Patterson, Lawrence; a son, Fred E. III, of the home;
a stepdaughter, Victoria Kennedy, Lawrence; a brother, John, Lawrence; a half-brother, Joe, Kansas City, Mo.;
two sisters, Patricia Patterson and Sharon Downing, both of Lawrence; a half-sister, Elizabeth Holden, Kansas City, Mo.;
and three grandchildren.
