Florenio was born in San Mateo to Telesfor and Demetria Montano Gonzales. He married Anna Mae Price in 1959 in Albuqurque and together had five children; William (Willie), Eugene, Loretta, Peggy and Shannon Gonzales. He was taken away at the young age of 39 years of age. He is survived by his wife and his children and his sisters; Della, Sally, Lucy, Sylvia and Ina Jean and his brother; Telesfor (Sonny) Gonzales Jr. and his mother-in-law, Josefita Price. Florenio was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean war. He was preceded in death by his parents, Telesfor and Demetria Gonzales and his father-in-law, William Willie Price.
