Floyd E. Alspach, 64, resident of Delaware, Oklahoma, died at 8:35 p.m. Sunday at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville.

He was an employee of Equity Drilling Company for many years. He was born January 14, 1918 in Nowata to Laura Evelyn "Eva" Beekman & Daniel Clyde Alspach. He is the grandson of Stephen Beekman
and Margaret Beekman and Daniel Alspach and Henrietta Alspach. He was the great-grandson of Amos Alspach. Floyd is the brother of Howard Daniel Alspach, Eva Irene Highfield, Lena Elnora, Rachel "Dehn", & Patricia Marie.

Floyd married Imogene Virgie Lee Snider on December 27, 1937, in Delaware. He lived all of his life in the Nowata area, including the Childers/Coody's Bluff Area. Floyd and his family also lived in Dewey, Oklahoma for many years. He was a member of the Delaware Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife Imogene, eight sons, Mike, Rick, and Scott of Delaware; Terry, Larry, and Gary, of Bartlesville; Roddy and Jerry of Tulsa; seven daughters, Beverly Hester of Dewey; Carolyn Kaye Palone and Trojia Stand of of Delaware; Debbie Douglas of Bartlesville; Marcia Edinger of Vera; Kelly Spohn of McKinney, Texas; and Linda Casavan of Tulsa; two sisters, Rachel Dehn Goetz and Patricia Polly, 29 grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Eva Irene and Lena, and son Max Allen Alspach, in April of 1981.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Benjamin Funeral Chapel in Nowata, Reverend Harold Neal will officiate. Interment will be at the Ball Cemetery in Childers.
