Mary Frances, 85, was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Timpson, TX and graduated from Timpson H.S. in 1940.

Mary attended beauty school and also worked as an airplane pilot. In Sept. 1955, Mary retired from the railroad.

On May 5, 1955, she married James Lewis Simmons and together they moved to OKC.

She also retired from AT&T in 1985 and was a longtime member of Crossroads Cathedral Church. Mary's greatest joys in life were family hunting & camping trips, and spending as much time as possible with her family & friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, James, and parents, Gus & Mable Richards, 2 brothers & 4 sisters.

Survived by her sister, Gloria Sklar of Timpson, TX; her 3 children, Linda & husband, Bill Hurley, Richard 'Butch' & Jimmy Simmons of OKC; 4 grandchildren, Inga & husband, Tony Rodriguez, Taina Simmons, Lyndsey Archer & Megan Simmons; 5 great grandchildren, Kristopher, Bradley, Tristen, Kevin, Jr. & Starla.

Services: Wed., March 21, 2007, at the South Colonial Chapel with burial following at Sunny Lane Cemetery on SW 29th & Sunnylane Rd.
