Funeral for Curtis Blankenship, 87, of Falkville will be Sunday, March 18, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Kinney officiating.

Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Blankenship, who died Friday, March 16, 2007, at his residence, was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Morgan County to Roscoe Blankenship and Myrtle Alvis Blankenship. His wife, Cleo McNutt Blankenship; and one daughter, Mary Ann Smith, preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sons, Sammy Blankenship of Falkville, Michael Blankenship of Vinemont and Jack Blankenship of Falkville; two daughters, Margarette Kennedy of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Ruth Ann Black of Hanceville; two sisters, Barbara Wright and Ruby Powell, both of Falkville; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
