Obituary: Emma Elizabeth Black, of Melbourne, Arkansas, died April 9, 1973, in the North Arkansas Clinic, Batesville, Arkansas. She was a Baptist, and had been a resident of Izard County all of her life. Survivors include, two sons, Elvis Black of Sage, Arkansas; R. K. Black, Jr., of Washington; three daughters, Verna Bell Hall of Melbourne, Arkansas; Charlene Arnold of Washington; Johnnie Morse of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tinnie Dover of Melbourne, Arkansas; Rebecca Gaither of Sidney, Arkansas; four brothers, Bill Lawhorn, of Texas; Shelby Lawhorn, of Arizona; Fred Lawhorn, of Sidney, Arkansas; Hayden Lawhorn of Melbourne, Ark. Funeral service was held in the Sage Baptist Church, Sage, Arkansas, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. with ministers, Paul Huskie and Bill Jones officiating. Interment was in Caney Springs Cemetery, Sage, Ark. Howard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Donald Black, Larry Black, Jack Morgan, Elvie Lawhorn, J. P.
